Ian Abbot, who died at the age of 42-years-old, in 1989, was a poet, and he based some of his work on events in and around Whitebridge, a hamlet in the hills above Loch Ness, 23 miles from Inverness.

He wrote about a woman whom he accidentally spotted bathing nude in a local stream, but although often quizzed by the villagers, he refused to reveal her identity.
