Friends should be able to discuss political issues calmly and diplomatically and in person. However, people now use their computers and post things they would never say face to face.

It is for this reason that the World Politics category should not exist, and for that reason there is nothing to say. Everything in this category on Wiki Normal, is for normal reasons, either ridicuolous, or in denial of the subject it offers to discuss.

That is: there is no left, no right, and nothing in between. There are just people, being jerked around by other people.

To conclude, we remind ourselves that the late Andrew Breitbart always said, “politics is downstream from culture”.

If you do not know what that means, you have probably been listening to too many politicians, indulging in circular and fruitless political debate and are doubtless the kind of person who launches every day on the harmful assumption that you are right - based on whichever ideology you have through your own lack of awareness, come to adopt.

So don't check your privelege at the door. Check your ideology!
