To be fair I think of any fan base I've ever belonged to I've never seen a bigger shift in demographic. "Do you like death grips?" used to be like a litmus test for finding people interested in lots of different kinds of music who might go on /mu/. Now it can mean "I'm an edgy memer and I only to death grips because my cool friend does as well". I mean read those YouTube comments, they're so cringey.

Edit: or even better go to a dg show if you're lucky enough for them to come to your area. It's literally a bunch of stupid kids being dicks throwing shit and elbowing eachother like idiots.

This winding, chaotic and brutal megamix was Death Grips’s first release of 2017. It follows an extremely non linear structure and merges (in typical Death Grips fashion) various different sonic pallets together including cyberpunk, noise, punk, hip hop and gabber (an irregular sub genre of techno). The title appears to pay homage to the classic martial arts movie “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.”
