This is a electronic book version of the fascinating life story Cole Younger (1844 - 1916). It is currently not available from the Leamington Books site.

Cole Younger was an American Civil War veteran and a member of the Jesse James gang, as well as being a member of Quantrill's Raiders during the Civil War and along with his brother, Jim Younger and the James brothers, robbed banks and trains during the 1870s.

Missouri guerrilla, Confederate officer, bank robber, notorious outlaw and Wild West showman, Cole Younger's life was the stuff of myth. In The Story of Cole Younger, he tells his story in his own words after his parole from prison at the age of 59.

This eBook is for the use of anyone anywhere at no cost and with almost no restrictions whatsoever.

This is not the regular electronic version of The Story of Cole Younger, by Himself, but has been updated, edited and entirely reformatted and now includes an introductory essay and a special illustrated section on how Cole Younger has been represented in American cinema since the 1940s.
