For five days I have not been living because of you, because of your stupid letters, of your letters of sex and not of mind, of your letters filled with reactions of sex and not of conscious reasoning. I am at the end of my nerves, at the end of reasons; instead of saving me, you overwhelm me, you overwhelm me because you are not in the truth. You have never been in the truth, you have always judged me with the sensibility of what is lowest in the woman. You refuse to bite any of my reasons. But I do not have any more reasons, I have no excuses to make you, I do not have to discuss with you. I know my life and that is enough for me. And the moment I begin to return to my life, more and more you suck me, you start my despair again; the more I give you reason to hope, to take patience, to support me, the more you strive to ravage me, to make me lose the benefits of my conquests, the less you are indulgent to my ills. You do not know anything about the mind, you do not know anything about the disease.

Poète noir, un sein de pucelle
te hante,
poète aigri, la vie bout
et la ville brûle,
et le ciel se résorbe en pluie,
ta plume gratte au cœur de la vie.

Forêt, forêt, des yeux fourmillent
sur les pignons multipliés ;
cheveux d’orage, les poètes
enfourchent des chevaux, des chiens.

Les yeux ragent, les langues tournent,
le ciel afflue dans les narines
comme un lait nourricier et bleu ;
je suis suspendu à vos bouches
femmes, cœurs de vinaigre durs.
