Introduction

Pillbox Hat and Whatever I Want are the only videos in real life, every other video is digitally made.

That's because Ride takes the drugs in Pillbox and the rest of the album and videos is him hallucinating/dreams in his sleep or some shit like that (I hover above you, opening of the mouth, get so fucking dark in here, emerald tablet apartment toxic).

He goes up to the Two Heavens and ascends. He's stuck inside this trip (Big House). He doesn't need your help (Bootleg). That's why in Whatever I Want Andy and Zach find Stefan dead laying on the bed. Government Plates is all about Stefan's trip. The skeleton guy is looking for him, he's paranoid and shit. In all the videos there's tons of cameras.

I think the song is about the irritation with all the pressure to produce more music and content.

First off, "Fuck who's watching" is a direct fuck you to the consumers and fans. "My head in furnace, cream. Proof of purchase" is about the pressure and strain on creativity that rapid production has, and how this pressure comes because Death Grips were bought by a record label. "When I spit in your face, you'll take what you can get" is about the low quality music he'll produce, when demanded to make it. The lyrics around "Til you're all used up, don't forget to fuck off." seem to be his interpretation of external attitudes, of people who are watching. MC Ride is also clearly shown dead, or nearly dead.

At least devoid of thought, which could be from the constant pressure to make music and produce.

Zach represents a man starting to use drugs. The skull represents the drugs and Hill's conscience. Hill knows its bad, but its whatever he wants. The drugs hurt him, but keep pulling him in. Ride trys to intervene, but Zach lashes out (fuck who's watching). Zach doesn't recognize Ride, and Zach kills him. The skull says "I told you" because Zachs conscience warned him. Zach told himself that the drugs were okay ("its chill, ok ok") the flashlight represents Hill's desire to follow his own path (whatever i want) and the water possibly is him realizing his actions.

Death is trying to save a man from dying as it wasn't his time but since he's Death he can't save his life. He's trying to get a wanderer to come through the cornfields around the mans house but the person can't trust death. Eventually the wanderer does follow death but when they find Ride he ran out of time and died. Death cries and shouts I told you. Maybe the message is don't fear death but don't live with a "whatever I want" mindset like Ride in the video or else you will die too soon.
